Meet Sarah Efrosman

Licensed Mental Health Counselor + Licensed Professional Counselor

Maybe you know something in your life needs to change, but you can’t quite figure out how to get there. You may find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns, struggling to set boundaries, questioning your worth, or making decisions from fear and anxiety rather than from who you truly are. Sometimes, after years of adapting, protecting yourself, or simply trying to get through life, it can become difficult to recognize what you actually want, need, or believe anymore.

I believe healing often involves finding your way back to yourself. Together, we’ll get curious about the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck—not with judgment, but with honesty, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand what’s underneath them. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be. It’s to create a space where you feel deeply seen and heard, while helping you recognize what’s holding you back and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way.

My approach is intuitive, collaborative, and grounded in both clinical training and lived experience. I understand personally that growth isn’t always a straight line, and I bring that perspective into the room with openness and humility. You don’t have to show up with the right words or have everything figured out. You can show up as you are. We’ll work from there.

Clinically, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, Brainspotting, and other somatic approaches to help address both the emotional and nervous-system patterns that can keep us feeling stuck. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, negative self-talk, boundary challenges, life transitions, stress, and more. Beyond helping you understand why certain patterns exist, our work focuses on helping you create meaningful shifts so you can live with greater confidence, peace, freedom, and connection.

Fun Fact: I love to read, cook, and bake in my free time. I’m also happiest outdoors—I love hiking and pretty much anything nature-related.
